Structural moving, raising, and house lifting services in Sharptown, Maryland, is a Matyiko family tradition spanning over three generations. In 1954, John Matyiko Sr., son of a Hungarian immigrant, started a house moving company in Virginia Beach, VA. As his four sons came of age, Johnny, Joe, Jimmy, and Jerry all joined the family business.
