Preserving
the Life of Quality-Built Homes, Buildings &
Historically Valuable Structures
Norfolk,
VA in the 1950's |
The
structural moving industry is not a new or far-fetched
idea. Moving structures is a long-standing technique
for "recycling" the materials and labor
invested in construction. It also saves landfill
space. Used buildings can be salvaged, restored,
and enjoyed in new settings. Moving a building
often costs less than new construction, and preserves
owner equity. |
We
are the Matyiko family and our company is now
in its third generation. It grew out of a house
moving firm originally started by our grandfather,
expanded by our father and his brothers, and carried
on by us. We have serviced the East Coast for
over 40 years and expanded to the Midwest in 1994.
